Tobias completed his Master’s degree in Civil Engineering – Infrastructure at TU Graz in June 2025. Prior to that, he obtained his Bachelor’s degree from Leibniz University Hannover. During his studies he worked for four years part-time at DB InfraGO in operational infrastructure planning. Starting his PhD at EBW, his research focuses on improving turnout inspection and maintenance planning using data from turnout measurement vehicles.
