Stefan joined the institute in 2018 and set his research focus on the track work levelling-lining-tamping. In the well established research area of track analysis based on measruement data, he aimed for answering the question how much quality is re-gained when track is tamped. Stefan, „Stopfi“ ;-), finished his PdD thesis in 2024 and joined – how comes? – Plasser & Theurer as researcher.
